JF, But the Dems have to get their act together and offer a positive alternative...

Bingo. Or just hope that Bush screws up so much that ABB will be elected by default. Didn't happen in 2004, maybe 2006?

re: "As angry and pissed off as we were in 1994 about politics, I think it's worse today," said Frank Luntz, a Republican strategist who helped his party capture Congress in 1994. "This House of Representatives' Republican majority is in jeopardy."

But the Dems have to get their act together and offer a positive alternative... follow Newt's model if not his policy.

Yes, but you know.....they did have their act together in the 1990s. We have to remember that Clinton got the BJ, not the Dem. party. But the Dems got tarred with the same brush and then they got to experience the machinations of Rove, Cheney, Rummie etc for the past 5 years. That would twist anyone's head around.

So, yes, its true they have to get their act together but then we have to remember they've been subjected to the same twisted spin as the rest of us.
