The Muslim world never ceases to amaze me with their love of the dramatic, quixotic, and ultimately futile display of so-called leadership. Am I being racist? You may think so. But let's just list a few unproductive Muslim leaders: Arafat, Bashar Assad, Ahmadinejad, Khamenia, Khomenie, Omar Abdullah, Saddam, and oh yes, Osama.

Then again, we have Bush, France has Chirac, and Germany has Schroeder. That's the great thing about this world. In times of great change, either the world produces great leaders or we get an entire crop of dullards. Guess which lot we all got stuck with over the last 7 or so years?

There's really only one leader I like right now and that is Tony Blair.
