Lewis Libby, Jr.: “Obviously, Mr. Libby is innocent until proven guilty, but these are very serious charges. Laws concerning perjury and obstruction of justice must be enforced, especially at the highest levels of government. So often during the Clinton administration these laws were ignored for the sake of political convenience. “Mr. Libby’s decision to resign is certainly appropriate and he will get his day in court.
