The fully endowed foundations, endowments and annual fund-raising over the past decade or more - which which take place in Orinda, Lafayette and other areas of the State of California are the only thing which maintains the educational standards in these wealthy areas.

The fact hat you bizarrely characterize this as one-time "collection practices" only show how completely out of touch you are with the needs of the school systems in the San Francisco Bay Area and through out the State of California.

Less wealthy areas of California must rely only upon State funding which is a small fraction of what it was in the past, assuming you're educated enough to adjust these figures for inflation.

You're uneducated and proud of that fact. Good for you.

You don't value education, so why not move to a Third World nation like Mexico which more closely shares your value system?
