1. You're showing your ignorance of AQ. It has not been worldwide in the past but now, the latest I've heard, is that it has expanded to 70 countries and, most importantly, has a new recruiting rationale: The out of control US of A occupying Iraq for oil while killing civilians and abusing prisoners. 5. It's amazing that you believe a dictator when it's convenient for your arguments. I choose to believe ACTIONS. Those actions were the ten years of negotiations that Libya had in order to get western oil companies back into the country and shore up the economy and the regime. So you think that Libya, not even in the axis of evil, was the next target for Bush? Do you believe the utter bumkum that Bush had enough troops since it was obvious, very soon after the invasion, that we were bogged down in Iraq? In fact, Iraq shows the limits of US power...to the entire world. In fact, the negotiations with NK show the limits of US power...to the entire world. Bush can engage in all kinds of warlike skirmishes with Iran and Syria but the reality is we don't have the troops to invade. Will Bush resort to nukes in order to further improve the finances of ExxonMobil? I believe the answer is a resounding YES. Bush is insane. If you wish to believe that Qaddafi thought Bush was nuts, you may have an argument there but then YOU have to believe Bush was and is insane. The rightwing is anti-American. It seeks to sell off pieces of the US of A to foreign countries. It demolished our human intelligence capabilities by outting its own covert agent. It ruins our finances and hollows out our middle class. Face it. If you're a rightwinger, you're anti-American. The entire world knows that and shakes its head in astonishment. I do as well. Have you bothered to read the ILA? How many troops are slated in the ILA for preemptive war and invasion of Iraq? How many? How many billions are slated for that purpose? How many? Have you bothered to READ the ILA?

That was undoubtedly part of the deal: "Just say that our invasion of Iraq scared you into capitulating and we'll give you the deal you've been trying to get for years. You know, the one where we forget that you've killed Americans and say that you're now a good guy and can trade and all that." Or maybe you have some other explanation for why a Middle Eastern leader would spontaneously volunteer; "I was so scared I gave up?" I bet that made him a hero in that Machismo part of the world.
