"And I don't believe the Bush administration ever said Saddam had anything to do with 9/11."

It's hard to argue that Cheney's statement below does not conflate Iraq and 9/11 (which is probably why upwards of 70% of the Us population at one time believed the two were connected. That belief just didn't materialize out of thin air.)

' Vice President Cheney said Iraq was the heart of "the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11." '

The heart of the geographic base of terrorists that had us under assault was really Saudi Arabia. But let's not let facts get in the way of this administration...

You just said this:

"You want truth?

Re-watch the 9/11 broadcasts...

Rewatch the Embassy bombings in Africa...

Read the daily imperialitic rhetoric on the Islamic militant websites where they declare they will conquer the world for "allah".."

----------- We are discussing why the blooming heck we're in Iraq. Of course you're trotting out THE BIG LIE that Iraq is about terrorism. Do you actually know what you're posting because you're making some very odd comments.

READ the UN resolution. Where does it say: The US can invade Iraq whenever it wants? Where?

This is why the US refused to go back to the UN AND INDEED why the Bushies tried to avoid going to the UN in the first place.

If there are legitimate and LEGAL reasons for invading Iraq and creating a power vacuum then why have the Bushies lied and lied and lied about WMDs to the extent that Libby is now indicted over the coverup of lies? Why?

You say you don't need WMDs but you're completely wrong. That was the reason Bush used to invade Iraq. It was the imminent threat of mushroom clouds, of 45 minutes to launch, of drones off tramp steamers, of aluminum tubes, of YELLOWCAKE FROM NIGER that pushed this country into this war.

OMG. Do you realize how absurd your arguments are? Now you're saying that Bush's reason for going to war in Iraq is immaterial for going to war in Iraq. Now you're arguing with Bush.

-------- Stop changing the rationale for going to war. It wasn't to SAVE THE CHILDREN from Saddam. Saddam was even more of a tyrant and murderer when he was visited by Rumsfeld and supported by the US of A.

AQ is in Iraq BECAUSE OF BUSH. Bush created the world's greatest terrorist training camp and then invited everyone to come take potshots at US Troops. If you're unhappy about AQ in Iraq then blame the host.

AQ did not invade Iraq. Iraq was invaded by the US of A. AQ did not topple Saddam, send the Baathists home and dismantle the military, that was BUSH.

AQ did not bring in Iraqi oil money stuck in the US of A and then watch it disappear to where it likely funds insurgents and terrorists today. That was also BUSH.

------- I know the definition of fascism. What is the definition of Islamo-Fascism? Just putting the word religion into the definition doesn't make it true.

Stop bringing up 911 in the context of Iraq. Knock off THE BIG LIE.

That gives way too much power to OBL who, after Iran and Halliburton, is one of the major beneficiaries of the toppling of Saddam.

"So why don't YOU stop your lying in claiming that I did."

That is like asking a sleeping do to stop lying.
