Point taken, not news discussion. Still, there was a time when the newscasts went beyond whoever was issuing the press release. When they actually forced you to think.

Excellent point.

However, I think for a while there the press may have gotten too clinical, and in the process, missed the big picture. Nonetheless, you make an important point.
