Then why has legal alcohol not destroyed the illegal trade in alcohol? Could it be the onerous taxes? You can say it would reduce, but the blanket statement that it would destroy is over reaching. "When was the last time we heard of someone being busted for smuggling alcohol?" If you knew the back hills of the Southeast, you would not ask that.
