That was never my intention. I was calling for his ouster well before the first gulf war was over, and continued screaming as the coalition forces were pulling out. But Bush Sr.'s attitude appeared to me to be, "I'm done here, ladee daaa." Similar to Reagan's attitude after the soviet pullout of Afghanistan. Both men, were not big forward thinkers.... and now we are paying for that. In any case, I supported the Iraqi invasion whole heartedly but always believed the invading force was too small and that what was needed was a strong coalition force numbering 300,000 to 500,000. One force to invade, another force to protect civilians and insfrastructure in the aftermath of military victory....
