Yes, but both houses are controlled by Republicans. So although there are some complicit Democrats, this is a Republican regime through and through and they are fleecing middle class and lower classes by the billions to enrich their cronies. I'm not sure how to get it back either, but I've a theory that you get a principled leader, such as a McCain or Lieberman, in the White House and you will have a leadership that drives his sense of justice and fairness down through our entire gov't. Bush has created a special interests heaven. What's unique about Bush Jr is that he's just so darn blatant about it. It's pretty disgusting.
