That must have been fabulous ... I saw Mantle play only once. A regular season game in Chicago in 1965. It's so sad that he was haunted by so many demons.

I have a good one for you. I went to the first World Series night game ... Game 4 of the 1971 World Series in Pittsburgh. Clemente and the great comeback from two games down against Baltimore. I believe the Orioles only got 8 hits in the three games in Pittsburgh.
