Yup, I was a slow starter too and slow all my life in the beer department, except maybe in college. I understand the pros and cons of being too close to your kids. I'd like to be less than an hour's drive, but not right on top of them. Today's families are difficult. We have loved ones in all four corners of the country, not counting when some of them are in South America or something. We have a close knit family on both sides, so it is difficult to keep in touch with them as much as we would like.
