Has that flu strain been shown to transfer from bird to human to human? If that happens any intentioned sabateur could intentionally bring it to us.
That would begin to panic Americans for sure. Any approaching storm gets Floridians wiping out gas stocks asap. They act like wild people.

One of the guests said that a bird flu epidemic would take place in pockets

Issue 8 of New Era Investor
I have just posted out issue eight of New Era Investor. This issue concentrates on the Avian Influenza virus H5N1 and examines the possible ramifications for the stock market and economy in general when (not if) it mutates into a human-to-human form.
We also look at silver and its role as an anti-viral agent. Silver is not just a pretty shiny metal, it has many investment potentials beyond inflation-proofing.

Silver and Bird Flu
What you may ask has silver got to do with the current flurry over very sick birds threatening various shorelines?
Everything some would say. For those in the know, silver may yet prove to be the greatest anti-viral agent known to man, making Tamiflu look positively harmful. Since we like to tie up various themes here at New Era Investor, we figure out in the next issue why silver isn't just a great bulwark against failure of the monetary system but also against failure of the immune system and attempt to identify the investment ramifications.
