Well, that's another part of the issue and I agree with you that all those famous names never performed all those absurdities the myth has alloted to their names. They may well have existed, made a lasting impression and thus went into the history books. As for all their miracles violating laws of nature as we know it, being just a little bit sceptical never hurts IMO.

Moses is just as likely to have existed as, say, Achilles. Maybe there was a dude in the Jews' history named Moses who was a leader, but he never did most of the things attributed to him -- for one thing, the Israelites never were slaves in Egypt.


That's not true either??? Its amazing how all this stuff has gotten so twisted up.
