If it had been me 60 years ago deciding the fate of the Jews, I would have given them carte blanche to immigrate to the US. That would have been a better solution. But I wonder if they would have accepted? Jews are inextricably connected to that land due to their religion. Frankly, that is why I think Christian religion is superior to both. We can live anywhere and don't need to fight anyone (at least in today's world), but Muslims and Jews think that land is important enough to kill each other over it.
