I mentioned this before - I dont see it as a conflict, because of the nature of the citizenships I hold : NZ & US are hardly likely to enter into a war with each other.. And it is legal.

Some dual citizenships are recognized. My wife was a dual citizen (Filipina & USA) for some time as there is a law in Philippines that only CITIZENS can own property there. However there are drawbacks, we had to pay taxes in BOTH COUNTRIES for example. So, when we learned we could get around the Citizenship property rule in Philippines by forming a corporation and having IT own property she dropped her Philippine citizenship. jdn
