Haqui, I'm starting to see more commercials on tv about foreclosed houses on the market. Surely this is an indication that the end of the sellers market is at hand.

This only means that someone is trying to sell a new book, course, vidio, etc of making fast money by buying foreclosed houses and selling them for profit. Has nothing to do with the market.

Geoff, If those commercials hinted anything about the government being involved, they are fake come-ons, and should be ignored. With the interest rates inching up a bit, that will cause some hesitation for people to jump into a mortgage, and make the price come down a little, but that is different in every region. Like the realtors say; "location, location, location".

For me, the main thing is to not be in a hurry, and extensive research on what is available at what price. I am allergic to interest, of any kind, and especially amortized mortgages. Now the geniuses of finance have come up with those "interest only" mortgages that are a bad joke, IMO. Fortunately, I don't have to move, and whenever I do, it will be a cash transaction.
