You mean most people don't want gay marriage for themselves, or don't want gays they don't know and have never met to be able to marry? If the latter, what right have "most people" to limit the marriage ability of strangers? Most people don't like skinhead Nazis, but they are legal. Most people don't like frivolous lawsuits, but the are allowed. Most people don't like jury duty, but they gotta go. Actually I've never even understood this one fully. Is a "gay marriage" the same as a "gay civil union"? Do "most people" oppose both, or just gay marriage? Most people like Christmas but the libs want to end that Well that's just wrong.
