J, re:One guy he hangs with is an alchoholic, drug addicted inheritor of the Chrysler fortune. He jets around in his own jets, owns houses all over the country, yachts on both coasts, yet does nothing other than party. He's really a sad waste of a man. I think this guy without money would be a drug addicted alcoholic on welfare, making his money stealing and we'd be paying for his issues.

JCP, I wouldn't consider Mr. Dell one of the idle rich. Paris Hilton though..? The problem with trying to go after the "idle rich" is that you'll also end up going after those who actually deserve some if not most of the riches they earned. You might say, "So what? They're rich, they can afford it. Even the hard-working ones." But then you're no longer just going after the "idle rich" anymore, but all the rich. And it no longer becomes a question of whether they deserve their riches, but a question of whether we should just soak 'em because their rich. Tenchusatsu
