Elroy,

now you are indeed into nuances... In the true meaning of the word. Obviously those who would like to see capital punishment for gays doing with each others what gays do, those would be the people against any kind of unions between people of same genders sharing their life together as one couple.

For me "marriage" is a very old institution and is something reserved for the traditional union between man and woman.

I would have absolutely nothing against granting gay couples same legal protection as married couples as long as "marriage" remains reserved for the liaison between man and woman the traditional way. Adoption rights to be excluded IMO.

But for whatever reason, gay organizations seem to insist on getting full access to call their liaison "marriage".
