TJ,

Re: Gold.

Just added some eminis in the nick of time, bought Dec 06s.

I see the Dec 08s are up almost $20 from last trade which was in the US session, 540.90 then, 558.40 now, as I type.

I am sure it gets smacked down in US trade, though, since printing that 5 at the front will turn some heads.

Cheers, D

TJ, I bet China shows little gratitude for having excellent advice given by an international expert in politics. Not even charged for! Normal management consultants charge heaps. news.yahoo.com
<In remarks sure to rile Beijing, Bush suggested China should follow Taiwan's path.

"Modern Taiwan is free and democratic and prosperous. By embracing freedom at all levels, Taiwan has delivered prosperity to its people and created a free and democratic Chinese society," the president said.

He delivered that message to China both in a speech and in a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, an unflinching ally despite the president's record-low popularity and mounting problems at home.
>

It seems that China might as well not pursue any rash ideas in regard to Taiwan in the next couple of years at least. I think they will not be allowed to attack Taiwan without payback.

He doesn't seem too shy about expressing his opinions.

Of course he has less time on his side than does Hu Jintao, who can wait until the King has gone and hope for somebody more amenable to China's megalomaniac expansion, to obtain peace in our time, at the cost of a disposable country.

Never a dull moment,
Mqurice
