Communism is the opposite of modern liberalism. Not a single thing they have in common. Opposites. Modern liberalism is more about personal freedom and true democracy than anything else. Ideally, communism is not a bad thing, but it always turns into the opposite of its ideal, a military dictatorship police state which is the opposite of liberal socialism. Communist dictatorships are similar to rightwing sictatorships. WHich is what some extremist Bushies dream about. A one party state with McCarthyism, no freedom of speech or freedom of the press. Anne Coulter supports that notion.

Taro, you just don't get it. Communism and socialism and liberalism cannot be the same. It's not a child if the mother kills it unless the father kills the child then it's a child. A liberal isn't a liberal, he's a "progressive". The democrats who voted for war really didn't mean it... They would try to explain it to you but you just wouldn't understand.... :)
