- As for TK and Peru -- well, it is Peru and the MAN experience is probably a good reference point for how viable the project is.

Remember that there are dozens of producing mines in Peru. MAN was a very special case. This doesn't mean that it will not happen again. But it was an exception, not the rule.

The MAN experience has NOTHING whatsoever to do with whether or not mining in Peru is a good idea. Why did you say that? Makes no sense to me. MAN knew they were not going to be able to mine under the town IMO....was no surprise to anyone.
