Well the good professor is trying to point out that the planes did not cause the collapse. His hypothesis is that the buildings were pre-rigged for demolition. From the way that the buildings collapsed, in near free fall time, it appears that all support in the building was removed, likely by small explosives and or thermite.

If the pancake theory was correct, and only one floor near the impact was damaged, then the upper part of the building would have fallen on the part below, that building below would have absorbed some energy, slowing down the upper part, as columns buckled...this would have taken more time than a free falling body.

Remember that the buildings were designed to withstand the impact of a 707.

Was there a conspiracy? Perhaps. The conspiracy theory involving the 19 hijackers is looking like one of very low probability.
