That's it. I was born in the South and my parents were from the South, but I was raised in Montana.

When it's cold in the south, it's bone chilling. A few years back I went to a meeting in Atlanta and had to walk about a mile from the light rail to my hotel. Coming from Alaska, I didn't bring much of a coat and walked the distance in a short sleeve shirt. Now THAT was colder than I like it. Not miserable, but cold.

The biggest problem in Alaska is attempting to walk on the sidewalk without getting run over by a car.
