re: Whatever happened to the "viable third party" idea anyway? It died a slow and less than graceful death. Although it would probably appeal to the general public... people on SI are too polarized on every issue to "give a little to get a lot". re: The only problem is that the side you're on won't fix any of that ... but they will push abortion and outlaw public displays of crosses. I'm not on a side... I'm against gun control, I think abortion is a states rights issue, I believe in balanced budgets pay as you go. What "side" do you think I'm on?
