Murtha may very well be saying what he believes. Military leaders disagree with him, and I am sure some will agree with him. The political timing of his comment shows how orchestrated the move by the democrats is...it is not surprising. They smell blood and they pick members of their party to come out with statements. That is how the system works. Some people are fooled by this and believe it is spontaneous. It is not.

All smart, honest Americans are now for ending the Iraq War. That includes millions of Republicans and most Independents. Democrats differ on how quickly to withdraw from Iraq, but it should be done as soon as possible. The Iraqis need to quit wimping out and defend their own country. After all, the enemy for them is themselves. So let them handle their own people.
