There are many things I am not expert on. But I am quite good at understanding information flows and systems and process interactions. Your concern about some individual not jumping in with information when not asked implies an ignorance of normal and typical information flows and systems and process interactions. You have invented a convention.

Two of the three who did speak to Mr. Libby made it quite clear he did not give Plames name and discussed it in a non conspiracy way. Russert said it never happened. Piccus says it never happened. Mr. Libby and Mr. Woodward say they recollect differently.

The case before Mr. Woodward smelled of joke. Mitchell, Woodward and the General have outed the joke. Fitz is motivated to not look like the total ass he looks like now. Fitz cannot unring the "Fitz looks like a total ass" bell.

"Fitz isn't done and it should be interesting to see why he is now moving in the direction he is moving..."

Seems pretty obvious that he is fixated with this joke of a case. As soon as he realized no crime was committed (which should have be before the official investigation), he should have dropped it. And when he stands in front of the nation and says that Scooter was the 1st source when it is not even close to the truth he should (if honorable) drop the charges against Libby. Instead he will waste more money looking for "crimes" about a non crime. An incorrect memory from two years ago about an insignificant event is now a crime. That should scare the piss out of liberals (and all people for that matter). But they (liberals) want to tarnish with their hatred, and this is how they best present themselves. Sad. Very sad.

"I think the announcement today should send chills down the spines"

It sends chills down my spine. Making politics a crime is a new low. You should be more concerned that Plame sent her husband to discredit (dishonestly, btw) the President of the United States. And when someone says his wife sent the hack to do such a thing (which is true) he should not be thrown in jail for 30 years. This is one of those cases where I am SURE the dems would argue the other side if the roles were reversed. Jeez, they thought it was ok to lie to a judge investigating a sexual harrasment case. It's only sex, they say.
