This is why Clinton passed the bill advocating doing all we could to remove Saddam from power, back in '98. The French and the British and the American intelligence conclusions were all in agreement that Saddam would have been working and producing WMD's while the Inspections had ceased. Despite the lack of found stockpiles, they were proven right according to Kay and Dulfer. Our post war intelligence (Kay and Dulfer) shows that Saddam truly sought to hide, acquire, and/or develop further, all the building bolcks of WMD commonly known, plainly even in the most recent years indeed. While "stockpiles" of WMD were what Kay said wasn't found (and surely such massive stockpiles as all expected to find weren't moved out of the country..um, MAYBE not), in fact he righty throughout his investigation knew the nature of the needles in a haystack these "stockpiles" he sought could be, ala Powells vial, or his own garage sized hidey hole in a California sized Country. Noted was scads of evidence of active attempts on the part of Saddam/Iraq to cover up, and scads of UN weapons violations determined from documents AND testimony true no doubt, involving all forms of WMD.We all know how incredibly vulnerable we truly are to any asshole from any town or county or state or country or religion the world over, who would do, well, any number of things to our in fact largely vulnerable infrastructure. You hurt/murder Americans from within dude, and you'll go down. Hey, I don't trust the likes of you with a greased 10' pole, no matter WHAT homage you may pay, like Chinu, to "peaceful protest."
