The left really thinks "Merry Christmas" is the pushing of religion on them.

All of this PC white washing of tradition for fear of offending someone's poor little sensibilities is totally stupid, IMO.

Although I am a completely non religious, non believer (prefer that term over atheist or agnostic), I've always thoroughly enjoyed Christmas and hate to see it attacked, indeed, the dummies who are doing so risk engendering a well deserved backlash.

Back in the late 60's, I was a member of my (public) high school choir and we performed such pieces as "Worthy is the Lamb" and the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah. Wonderful stirring music that I'm sure has been outlawed in public schools today. :-(

Sure, but that's not what that point said. It said that the left wanted to suppress info that religion exists, as thought no one would be otherwise aware that there is such a thing thus wouldn't get caught up in it. That's beyond silly. People who oppose "Merry Christmas" are already aware that religion exists and have already made up their minds about so facing the fact that religion exists is moot.
