I see it's kinda like a murder suicide. A guy shoots his friend...but to avoid prosecution he shoots himself. Now since he's dead he never stood trial or was convicted of murder...so he's not a murderer? The Websters definition of impeachment was met when the House Judiciary committee brought the charges against Nixon. Yes the full house didn't vote on it...be cause Nixon resigned in disgrace...so some will say that he's not an impeached president. Others say he was impeached by virtue of the charges brought, and resigned to avoid prosecution. I'm clear on the facts, and I'm clear on why Nixon resigned. GUILTY AS SIN! Orca
