What is it about "as soon as possible" that is difficult to understand? As soon as possible, could mean that you give the order to pull everyone out as fast as they can move across the border or in to aircraft, regardless of the disruption or even casualties. It could more reasonably mean you give the order for a staged pullout that begins now. It could mean that you start a plan for pulling out that begins in a few months and last for several months after that. It could mean as soon as pulling out won't result in a disaster, and then of course you have to define what you mean by a disaster and determine when and how you think that can be avoided. The answer you get for "as soon as possible" could be a few weeks or it could be a decade. Tim
