Yes the details of how the Democrats felt they had a right to try to steal the election of 2000 have been the subject of many discussions. Contesting that they did a poor job of designing the ballot and thus unduly challenged their constituents intelligence seems like a specious argument. Perhaps President Bush 43 is not pushed around by Congress; IMO most of those are small issues. The exception to that is the attempt to work towards a beacon of freedom in the Middle East. He refuses to be adult about any contentious law, he signed McPain FidGold Campaign Finance Reorganization. He has signed every highway and spending bill that has passed. It would be difficult to argue that he showed a lot of backbone on judicial nominees. It was not the UN that dictated that Saddam be spared. GW I was financed by Arab states. When Norman wanted to go to Bagdad, the sheiks threatened to dishonor their commitments to pay for the effort. President Bush 41 stopped because of the money. Can you imagine the Democrats of the time authorizing hundreds of Billions of dollars to finance the liberation of Iraq? The UN is typical of the worst type of government. Only those with one hand out palm up and the other in your pocket will associate with the UN. Yes it is corrupt. but are you sure that evicting them would serve a greater purpose than keeping them close does? Would you turn a boar hog with tits loose to breed in the wild?
