"You would ignore clear warnings of upcoming terror attacks. That seems incredibly unwise. It's why leftwingers are considered unreliable on defense"

Prior to WWII the right wing in the US was against involvement in the European war. Some were Nazi sympathizers. FDR was certainly considered to be left wing in US politics and brought the US into WWII.

Truman A-bombed Japan and brought the US into Korea.

Eisenhower said "Beware of the military-industrial complex". As a left winger I support that statement of Eisenhower's.

Nixon walked out of Viet Nam. After realizing, among other things, that the domino theory was nonsense.

They sounded vague and unclear to me. Just more right-wing fearmongering.

Get your facts straight ... it is the Bush administration that ignored clear warnings of upcoming terrorist strikes against the U.S.
