From NumberSix on the FOOL...

My son (he's 12, in middle school) has gotten an offer in the mail for an MBNA credit card with a credit line as high as $100,000. He has not been pre-approved but is invited to call the 1-800 number for a quick approval.

I'm actually gonna have him make the call and try to get a credit card. See how far he can get in the process.

How did they even find him, given that he never worked in his life and has no credit history?

oh, how i long for the good 'ol days of a marshall-burr duel.-g-
