OT, Darffot, RE: if global supply is indeed peaking then the old cyclical rules do not apply.

"This time it's different" is a tough game to play in the equity markets. If you're right, there are certainly ample rewards for you. But the Street is littered with people who were wrong. It's a low probability game to play. And with supply increasing and demand decreasing, it is a particularly tough game to play right now in the energy markets.
