American Traitor

I often joke to friends that I am a liberal simply because it pisses Ann Coulter off so much. It may be a joke, but it is mostly true; the vast majority of my personal opinions, once you get into the vagaries of economics, environmentalism and law, come fairly marginally into liberal territory. It is only when you get to the big issues, like "don't go to war over fabricated pretenses", or "corruption is, um, bad", or "don't suck the intestines out of children through faulty pool drains" that I seem to find myself in the "liberal" camp, simply because being anti-sucking-the-intestines-out-of-children now seems to be the "liberal" point of view, derided by such luminaries of the conservative movement as Tucker Carlson or, tenfold worse, the fading but still preeminent shill, apologist, liar, racist, and hatemonger of the Right, Ann Coulter. And so, apparently, I am a liberal.

Ann Coulter is a coward, of the highest order. She rants, and raves, and froths, and churns, and lies with a frequency that would make an actual, factual Nazi blush, but then squeals like a pig when any of it catches up with her, in any middlingly inconvenient or transitory way. She is the perfect example of a transmitter, in the parlance of David Neiwert. She is a more perfect example of a lying, anti-American propagandist, so hate filled, so devoted to Riefenstahlesque propaganda, and so utterly unconcerned with even the basics of fact and history that she is reduced to looking into the cameras like there was a dead bug on the lens, on the few instances she finds herself on a show where someone dares challenge her on either.

So it probably comes as no surprise that this pile of rotting words, capable of eating jagged holes in the integrity of any newspaper even before the paper leaves the press, was Ann Coulter, American(TM)'s contribution to the holiday of Thanksgiving. The proximal target, in this particular case, was John Murtha.

[...] The Democrats are giving aid and comfort to the enemy for no purpose other than giving aid and comfort to the enemy. There is no plausible explanation for the Democrats' behavior other than that they long to see U.S. troops shot, humiliated, and driven from the field of battle.

They fill the airwaves with treason, but when called to vote on withdrawing troops, disavow their own public statements. These people are not only traitors, they are gutless traitors.

Wow. And a happy Thanksgiving to you too, Piehole Annie.

George Best was sensational ... His death today at 59 was sad .....

.......... He was afflicted with alcoholism that essentially ended his career at the age of 27. Many believe he's the greatest soccer player produced by Great Britain since World War II. Pele once said he was the best player he ever saw play the game.

I spent all my money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."
George Best

Tug McGraw, pitcher for the old New York Mets said it better and earlier.
"I spent 90% of my money on wine, woman,and song.The other 10%, I wasted."
