gas prices dropped because demand dropped and supply came back on stream. also we relaxed air pollution controls over refineries and opened up foreign tankers to come into our ports. i am sure many other reasons like speculation has moved on some. but first cold snap and we should see bump in heating oil and natural gas prices.

don't know about consumer demand. sams club was empty at 8am but went next door to wal mart later and a family almost put me in the family van as we were all so close together when shopping. in other words wal mart was crowed, a complete zoo . but i got everything i wanted in and out within 45 minutes. no bad for old fellow.
