Yes, but that's a false peace. China is large enough to be an empire and it appears peaceful but that masks all kinds of problems and terrors. War or no war, skirmishes or no skirmishes; the only places where there is true peace is with those countries that are true democracies. The rest is all crap......whether we stick our noses in or not. As far as I can see, the only difference between an Iraq and a Congo is a controlled slaughter vs a wanton slaughter.

Bottomline: we are not using our enormous power and wealth for peace but to promote our agenda and secure our resources. That's why the world is not a very safe place right now and is probably in more danger of blowing itself up than it has been for 20 years.
