The uninsured has to pay for what ever care they get. Catastrophic medical emergencies bankrupt families. Others just don't seek care because they simply can't afford it. Thats not too accessible to my mind - if you can't afford it - its not accessible.

I would say the average working class person and below (poor people) are better off in Europe than the same in the US.

In Europe everyone has healthcare, workers have more rights - more holidays, better pensions. Average holidays in the States is two weeks - Europe it's five weeks.

Professionals, business owners and the elite/rich have it better in the States. For instance, if you don’t belong to a Union a person in the US could get fired for being overweight or being a smoker even if you have given 25 years service. That doesn’t seem to be the life of liberty it’s supposed to be.

Overall - European style socialism probably enriches life for more people or a larger % of the population so its not the evil Republicans make it out to be.
