You make a simpleton's argument - but I will answer your question.

Once torture techniques are approved cowboys will push the envelope. What kind of oversight do you think exists at these secret prisons?

Look either the US is a country that tortures or it isn’t.

If the US chooses to torture at secret prisons tell me the difference between that and a concentration camp circa WW II?

The concentration camps were “secret prisons” outside the homeland too. Guess what - torture went on there. Thing is "we" don't know whats going on at these prisons but I doubt everyone is sitting around eating carrot cake.

Can you tell me how many enemies of the state have been tortured to death at these prisons?

No you can't because nobody probably knows but Cheney – and he’s not worthy of trust considering the WMD fiasco.

At least the Romans did their torturing in the light of day and we now have the Christian Religions as a result.

If Jesus existed today he could have died an unknown death in a secret CIA torture prison.
