By most accountings, the tech bubble merely transfered into real estate (occasioned by the Fed's deliberate policy of forcing real rates down into negative territory and holding them there for so long) and the bubble kept on growing.

We have yet to have any correction sufficient enough to mop up the excesses of speculation... but I predict that this even *larger* asset bubble will not be allowed to 'burst' suddenly.

(It will be more like a slow, steady, multi-year escaping of steam, a slow-rolling correction.)
