You guys are idiots. Everyone knew that Wilson was married to Plame. Everyone DIDN'T know that Plame was CIA. Wilson going to Niger ( having been an ambassador in Africa ) on some governement mission wouldn't have alerted anyone to anything. Until the WH spilled the beans, there was no linkage of Plame to the CIA. Plame may have recommended her husband to go, but higher ups IN the CIA made the decision to do the fact-finding that Cheney wanted.

It's like saying "everyone KNEW Wilson had a wife'!

Yes it does seem odd for someone trying to retain their cover to do something like that.

Let alone being taken to announcing his wife as a CIA employee on the local DC party circuit.

I wonder why Wilson isn't being charges with "blowing" his wife's cover?
