Why would a guest worker leave for a year? Just leave for 1 day, come back with a new name for 6 more years. I doubt we'll be fingerprinter or DNA printing to make sure they don't come back under a different name.

Plus, 6 years would start when ever then enacted the law. Puts the problem of getting the out for the 1 year away off a long ways.

Oh yeah, "guest worker"... no such thing as an illegal alien just living off the dole I'm sure, they all be hard workin'

Let them stay for 6 years then demand they leave but let them file to return after a year.

Please defend that.
It can't be done because it is point blank stupid.

They're ALREADY STAYING that long.. They just aren't being accounted for and we don't know who, or where, they are.

We can't stop them from coming because they know there are jobs here. But at least we can know who they are, where they're living, and have some accountability.
