Enron fraud trial is a sham. Skilling and Lay are walking around rich and free four years later. Most of those convictions were Merrill Lynch guys who were only guilty of being accomplices. But what about the masterminds? I'm certain that this trial is about trying to save the creeps at the top because they're pals of GW's, and throw a few sacrificial lambs into the fire at the VP level. Typical coverup.

That statement constitutes a shameful lie on your part. You know damn well that Skilling and Lay are scheduled to go to trial in January. The wheels of justice may be grinding slowly for these two, but they are grinding. How would you like to have your life held in limbo for four years.? A slow torture, and well deserved.

You also know damn well that the DOJ has done an excellent job of prosecuting these mostly Clinton-era crimes.

I have probably posted the following scorecard to you five or six times, yet you continue to remain deliberately ignorant.

34 people charged, 16 guilty pleas, 6 convictions, 1 of which was overturned, 1 acquittal, 11 others charged and waiting trial or a retrial.

"Typical coverup," my ass.
