Tookie Williams murdered four people in cold blood during two robberies. There is no doubt he did it, and he was not convicted on circumstantial evidence.

Celebs Who Support A Cold-Blooded Killer (Debbie Schlussel On The Shut Up And Sing Types Alert)

You've no doubt heard the sob-stories about the impending California execution of Crips co-founder and cold-blooded killer Stanley "Tookie" Williams, set for December 13th.

Williams murdered four people in cold blood during two robberies. There is no doubt he did it, and he was not convicted on circumstantial evidence. That's not to mention the hundreds of murder victims taken by members of his Crips gang.

But, despite this, Williams was a several-time Nobel Prize nominee, and the following celebrities are rallying for his clemency from the sentence by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger:

* Snoop Dogg (no comment necessary)

* Jamie Foxx (who played Williams in a made-for-TV sympathize-with-the-murderer movie)

* George Costanza (Jason Alexander), who is at least consistent; He stands up for Palestinian terrorists, too.

* Irene "Gitmo is the Gulag of Our Time" Khan, Sec. Gen. of SHAmnesty International

* Russell "I beat a hotel clerk with a phone" Crowe

* Rob "No Smoking" Meathead Reiner

* Susan Permanent PMS Sarandon

* Jackson "I beat my girlfriend" Browne

* Kerry Kennedy Cuomo (You always need a Kennedy of some ilk, all the better if she was cheated on, then dumped by a Cuomo.)

* Mike Farrell ("MASH")

* First officially married Ho of Mick Jagger (that would be, Bianca Jagger)

* Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson (as always, flying in to save the day)

* Desmond "I loved Arafat" Tutu

Remember that they stood up for a mass murderer, and don't patronize their show biz exploits. They apparently care nothing about the lives of Albert Owens, Yen-I Yang, Tsai-Shai Yang and Ye Chen Lin--which Williams took.

You should listen to folks like Biden, Lieberman and McCain who take tougher stands than the whitehouse. Biden just finished up on IMUS and his analysis is right on and you would agree with most of it if you would listen to the messenger with an open mind.
1. Next three months crucial from election to final constitution.
2. If the election and constitution are not inclusive enough to engage the sunni, full scale civil war breaks out
3. All regional powers--US, Iran, Turkey, GB, France, Russia, all have interest in no civil war because that could morph into a regional war which could engulf the area and set back our FP (and that of others) for a generation.
4. MY ADD No one has an interest in aiding the growth of al quaeda in the region. Too many americans too quickly lump ayotollahs with wahabis. Both are terrorists indeed but the iranian version is not part of a world wide movement trying to overthrow the west. Its aims are far more limited and regional. The wahabis would love to kill all the infidel shiaa ayotolahs at the appropriate moment so they are the enemy of al quaeda too, even though they engage when interest seem to coicide.. When we have common national/regional interests we should engage with them with the lt hope that they will modify some of their more violent lt postions. Even if they dont, it is my belief that the iranian people will eventually boot out the mad mullahs.
