"In fact, these Bushies are so bad that they could cost the GOP another 15 years out of power." You are being too conservative. The GOP is facing a bigger crisis than Watergate presented. And they almost died because of that one. Between the corruption and the looming failure in Iraq, not to mention the lack of response to Katrina/Rita and the eventual scandal that grows out of that, the GOP has screwed the pooch. There just isn't any good news for them. It is life or death for them, and they know it. They just don't know what to do.
