"It makes no provision for the exception you cite." You have failed notably to address it. What I said is correct- -you get at least one free shot. If I saw my name posted behind my back on another thread I would respond also--DIRECTLY to the person and DIRECTLY on the thread in question. And, pray tell, how can you when you're banned from that thread. There was discussion with another poster of my dredging up some ancient posts from that war to prove my point was in fact correct, but that war is one I would much sooner see stay dead- -to the distress of certain close friends of P. You are being silly, Lazarus. The rule is silly as it stands, Solon. THAT's what the problem is. AND it was a predictable problem as soon as the rule was laid down. And, yes, for the rule to operate as laid down, it requires everyone to check tha ban list of every thread they post before every post. Hey, guy, I'm not the one who laid this rule down. Take it up with Dave.
