Certainly there are Mexican day laborers. I don't know how tapped in you are to the building trades, but they've been taken over by the Mexicans. These aren't low paying jobs.

I have a friend that runs a granite and marble business in Austin. All his employess are Mexicans, and he pays some of them up to $20/hr. He's TRIED to find American employees. He has a foreman (also Mexican) that is bilingual through whom he communicates. His Mexicans all take off for Christmas and go back to Mexico, then return in the spring. He just shuts down then. All these guys are illegal aliens.
