In that Berger destroyed evidence with some motive. I have no idea if the motive was to hide a revelation his conduct with others led directly to the success of the 911 attacks. The answer to your question is a solid maybe. 3000 lives were lost because of 911. The circumstances of the Berger thefts have me thinking that hanging could be a proper punishment.

Your partisan ship is on display again. No one dies the last time you got a speeding ticket either (I hope). But for some odd reason your argument didn't cut the mustard then either. No one died when our highest law enforcement officer lied under oath either, only the sanctity of our entire system of justice was compromised. "Any person who is authorized to remove such documents from a special secure room is required to do so in a locked case that is handcuffed to his or her wrist." Maybe Sandy Burger wears locked chastity underwear that complies with the laws that he had been sworn to uphold. It is unlikely. Certainly if they did, he would have testified to it in his court hearing. Reading your contortions in your lame attempt to justify the laxity of Sandy Burger's "punishment" is providing much humor value. I will grant him one thing. He is more ethical than either Clinton, both of whom lied under oath.
